Introducing the ConferenceCaptioning Partner Program: Earn When You Refer Events

The ConferenceCaptioning Partner Program is our referral program. Apply, get a personal link and partner code, and earn a commission when a customer you refer signs up and pays for their first event or first year. AV companies and event organizers earn 5% to 15% in cash. Non-profits can take account credits or a donation instead. The people you refer get a discount too.

Who the Partner Program is for

You already sit next to the people who need captions and translation. Partners are usually one of three kinds:

AV and event production companies: add captions to your AV checklist and earn on every client you bring. Cash commission.
Event organizers: recommend us to peers, associations and the events you work with. Cash commission.
Non-profit organizations: earn account credits or a donation to your organization.

What you earn

Your rate rises with the number of customers you sign in a year. Commission is a percentage of what the customer actually paid for their first event or first year, after any discount.

What the customers you refer get

10% off their first event or first year. Non-profits are eligible for our existing non-profit discount of up to 50% off their first event or first year, and a partner referral makes the full discount more likely.

How to join, step by step

Step 1: Apply in the portal

Sign in (or create a free account) at app.conferencecaptioning.com and open Referrals in the sidebar. Choose your partner type, add your company, and tell us how you would introduce ConferenceCaptioning and how you would like to be paid.

Step 2: We review it by hand

Every application is reviewed by a person. Until then, your Referrals page shows that your application was received.

Step 3: Get your link and code

Once approved, your Referrals page shows your personal link and your partner code. Share the link, or have customers enter your code when they sign up or on a demo call.

Step 4: Watch your referrals

The same page shows visits through your link, the accounts created, and what you have earned. For each referred account you can see the name and email they signed up with, their stream name, whether the account is still active, whether it has become a paid customer, and what you earned from it.

How we credit referrals

180 days. A customer who creates a new account within 180 days of clicking your link is credited to you.
Most recent link wins. If a customer clicked links from two partners, the more recent one gets the credit.
New customers only. Existing accounts don't qualify.
Or use your code. A customer can enter your code at sign-up or mention it on a demo call.
Manual approval and payouts. We review every application, and payouts are made by us after the customer has paid.

Partner rules

Tell people you earn a commission when you recommend us. Use only our published accuracy and delay numbers (see the benchmark) and don't make other claims about what the product does. Referring yourself doesn't earn a commission.

When and how do I get paid?

After the referred customer has signed and paid for their first event or first year. Payouts are made manually by us, and we agree the method when you are approved. AV companies and event organizers are paid in cash; non-profits choose account credits or a donation to their organization.
